Wood, warm lighting, soft acoustics: of Wanda Studio's two studios, Studio Salève is the one you book when the session is going to run long. Narrative podcasts, online training, in-depth interviews, creative sessions, up to four people. Expect 189 CHF an hour for the studio alone with your raw files, 299 CHF with multicam recording and editing delivered within 48 hours. Rue du Stand 3bis, 1204 Geneva, Open 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
A wooden set, for sessions that are not rushed
Studio Salève is a warm, wooden space. The natural wood furniture and adjustable warm lighting create an environment that is less harsh than a set lit in cold white, and it shows on camera as much as in the room. Over three or four hours, the difference stops being decorative: faces stay relaxed, people settle in instead of sitting bolt upright in front of a lens. It is the studio for in-depth interviews, creative sessions and recordings whose exact length nobody knows yet.
What soft acoustics do for the voice
In a room with hard surfaces, the voice bounces off the walls and comes back to the speaker with a very slight delay. The brain reads that return as a lack of clarity and pushes you to speak louder and articulate more sharply, without the decision ever being conscious. Your throat ends up straining. Soft acoustics absorb those reflections: you hear yourself as you speak, at conversation volume, and you last the distance without forcing it. That is the first reason this studio suits long formats.
Pricing, sorted by duration
Just two packages, and the same studio in both cases. The first lets you leave with the raw files. The second adds multicam recording and an edit delivered ready to publish within 48 hours, in 4K. Sorted by duration rather than by package, the grid reads at a glance and shows what editing costs at each tier. Payment is made online by card at the time of booking.

Recording several episodes back to back in a single slot
Recording several episodes in a row, instead of coming back every week, changes how you use the studio. The set, the lighting and the sound are set up once, so the episodes of a season look and sound the same from start to finish. Above all, you only have to get yourself into speaking mode once, and that remains the real hidden cost of the exercise. The 3h and 4h slots exist for this: 489 CHF and 589 CHF for studio rental only, 769 CHF and 949 CHF with editing.
- Write down the running order before you arrive, starting with the most demanding episode
- Keep the introductions for the end, when your voice is warmed up
- Plan a change of top between episodes if you are filming
- Allow breaks between takes rather than running straight through
- Bring something to drink at room temperature rather than iced
Filming an online course or educational content
An online course calls for something different from a podcast: modules that look the same from one sequence to the next, a tone that explains without reciting, and enough time to redo a badly worded passage without watching the clock. The Salève meets these three constraints, with a wooden set that puts no distance between the person and the lens, soft acoustics and opening hours that allow for an entire morning. Educational content and in-depth interviews follow the same logic.
What is already set up in the studio
The Salève's equipment fits in a few lines, and that is deliberate. The microphone is a Shure SM7B, connected to a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface, the box that turns the signal into a usable file. A monitoring screen lets you follow what is actually being recorded, rather than what the ear thinks it hears in the room. The warm lighting adjusts to the tone of the content. The rest is the natural wood furniture, which doubles as set and seating for four people.

When to choose the Salève, and how to book
A simple rule of thumb: the Salève is the studio for comfort and long sessions, while Wanda's other studio, darker and broadcast-style, is the one for visual impact. Narrative podcast, in-depth interview, online course, educational content: the Salève is more than enough. Corporate content, dubbing, highly polished visuals: head for Studio Rhône, at the same address and the same price.
The studio is at Rue du Stand 3bis, 1204 Geneva, in the Jonction district, on the left bank, towards Plainpalais. Opening hours from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week, leave room for long formats: a four-hour session fits into a day without splitting it in two. Book at wanda-studio.com/reserver, and any doubt about duration or package is settled with one phone call.

Frequently asked questions
What people ask us.
How much does a session at Studio Salève cost?
The price depends on the duration and the package you choose. Studio rental only, with the raw files: 189 CHF for 1h, 359 CHF for 2h, 489 CHF for 3h and 589 CHF for 4h. With multicam recording and editing delivered ready to publish: 299 CHF, 559 CHF, 769 CHF and 949 CHF for the same durations. Payment is made online by card at the time of booking.
Can I record several episodes back to back in the same slot?
Yes, and that is exactly what the long slots are designed for: 489 CHF for 3h and 589 CHF for 4h for studio rental only. The set and the settings do not change from one episode to the next, which gives you a consistent season. Prepare the running order before you arrive and allow breaks between takes.
Is Studio Salève suitable for filming an online course?
Yes, it is one of its main uses, along with narrative podcasts, interviews and educational content. The wooden set and warm lighting give you modules that match each other, and opening hours from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. let you film several sequences in the same day. The package with recording and editing delivers them ready to publish within 48 hours.
How many people can the studio accommodate?
Four at most, host included. The wooden furniture is designed for this configuration. With more than two speakers, plan a clear speaking order: that is what avoids overlaps, more than the technology does. If your format involves more than four people, call 022 554 73 67 before booking to discuss it.
Is editing included, and when does it arrive?
Only in the second package, from 299 CHF for 1h. The edit reaches you within 48 hours, in 4K, ready to publish. The studio-rental-only package includes no post-production: you take the raw files and do what you like with them, with your own editor or on your own.
Can I record in the evening or at the weekend, and how do I pay?
The studio is Open 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., which leaves room to fit a long session outside office hours. Book at wanda-studio.com/reserver or by phone on 022 554 73 67. Payment itself is made online by card at the time of booking.
